It happens that I am asked to not only design mosaics, but also to help build them. This is one of those.
The original picture shows a LEGO Minifig in front of an apple. I was asked to design a LEGO mosaic of this picture. I used LDDMC for this.
It took only a few minutes to design the mosaic. Building it took several hours due to the large amount of sideways building.
The back side of the final model looks nothing like the front.
LDDMC is also able to output an LDraw version of the model, as seen here.
