There is a tradition of having a large LEGO display at Salling in Aarhus. This is a collaborative display with many LEGO builders.
The display is planned a long time in advance. The builders meet up one month before the display has to be set up in order to ensure that all the models fit together.
Some of the secrets of the models are revealed at the test setup. The largest models have only as much interior as can be reasonably observed from the outside.
This train was supposed to be the one driving around in the layout. It was unfortunately too heavy to be reliable when running for 3 months.
At the test setup we also tested the "caves" of the lower level of the display.
My contribution was being part of this section in collaboration with Cammi from season 2 of LEGO Masters Denmark. Cammi had built most of it, while I added details, such as the train, cable car and shrubbery.

Being a Christmas display, there are mandatory elements.
