This house was built for a 40 year anniversary at LEGO. At the reception, guests were asked to write messages on the black frame.
The jubilee with the husband. Glasses were added to his figure during the presentation of the model.
The final model before the presentation was hidden in the "post office" at LEGO Campus in Billund.
The family was present at the celebration - and in the model.
Initial construction for the design phase. The model was built in scale 1:20 (Miniland scale) as it allowed for the correct size of window panes and other details of the building.
The model has a light frame for stability. A full frame would have made the model very heavy.
The roof tiling was added at the end. More than 5000 1x1 pieces were used.
Small funny details were included, such as this cow from Legoland.
